About Us
The "Alpengasthof Fernblick" is situated between Mönichkirchen and Mariensee directly at the northern side of the Wechsel.
Due to a sea-level of 1.180m an amazing view and a superior mountain-climate is guaranteed. The family-owned restaurant exists since 1964 and is open all around the year.
All in all we have 18 rooms with 50 beds. In our guest-rooms we have seats for about 150 visitors, in our garden outsinde for about 40 persons.
Close by the restaurant we have a small biologically runned farm. In the kitchen we use as far as possible our own products like meat, eggs, milk and fish. Our cats and the dog are waiting for our little guests who can play with them.
In the summer the wonderful mountain-region offers plenty of possibilities for hiking tours. One possible target is the Hochwechsel on a sea-level of 1.743m where you can visit a memorial-church for the First and Second World War. Furthermore it is not far to different lakes, thermal spas and different towns such as Graz, Vienna or Hartberg for shopping and sightseeing-tours. In the winter you can start skiing directly in front of the door because the Alpengasthof Fernblick is situated in the middle of the skiing-resort Mönichkirchen-Mariensee.
